Ushuaia is the door to Antarctica, with a population of 45,000 inhabitants. It is the southernmost city in the world, on the shores of the Beagle Channel and surrounded by the Martial Mounts. Its geographical location, climate, hotel and gastronomy infrastructure make it a unique tourist destination of interest for nature and adventure lovers.
There are plenty of things to do in Ushuaia. Locals love to explore the leafy trails of the forest or sip hot chocolate by the Port of Ushuaia. Summer is the ideal season to challenge Tierra del fuego with adventure sports, such as trekking, fishing, sailing and cycling.
Ushuaia is a wonderful city that can be enjoyed all year long. Visitors can go horse riding, trekking, go for incredible rides along the Beagle Channel, Cape Horn and Argentine Antarctica. Local are very fond of foreigners, easy-going and very friendly. |

Spanish School Ushuaia
Our Spanish school in Ushuaia is located within a ten-minute walk from the centre of the city and three blocks from the main avenue. It has 14 classrooms equipped with TV, video and audio teaching materials. There is a comfortable waiting room, a kitchen and a computer lab with 18 computers and Internet access.
Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world, lies on the coast of the Beagle Channel, next to the Martial Mountains. Its incredible location allows visitors to enjoy the beauty of the sea, the woods, and the touching splendour of the glaciers.
The Spanish School is near the port, one of the most important in Argentina, which is very busy from October to April.

Intensive 20 – 20 group lessons per week aimed at developing the communicative competence in Spanish in the four main skills: speaking, reading, listening and writing. They also provide contextual grammar and expose the students to the local culture.

Super Intensive 30 – The Super Intensive course is designed for students wishing to deepen their learning experience and to accomplish a higher level of proficiency in Spanish in a shorter time. This course aims at reinforcing the class content, working on weak points and broadening areas of the students own interest as well as working on all areas of the students own interest.

Immersion 20 + 5 – 20 group lessons + 5 private lessons per week. The immersion course consists of lessons that aim at developing speaking, writing, reading and listening skills and the use of language in real contexts of use, taking into account aspects such as social appropriateness.

Private Course – 10 private lessons per week. The private Spanish course is designed to meet the student’s individual needs and expectations. During the course, students will be exposed to a variety of topics according to their own interests and pace.

Average class size: An average of 3 and a maximum of 7 students per class.

Minimum age: 18 years old for General Spanish Courses and 12 years old for Private Courses.

With a host family, you will have the opportunity to see what true Latin American life is all about. Our families have all been carefully selected to ensure that both you and your hosts enjoy your stay.
Student Residences: If participants wish to share their time with students from all over the world, student residences are the perfect place. These large houses have several bedrooms – single, double and triple rooms. They also have a kitchen, Internet access and a common room with TV set. The residences are strategically located in order to make the journey to the school comfortable.
