Russian School Moscow Our language school features ten classrooms and is equipped with the latest technology (several workstations with wireless Internet for our students, LCD TV and DVD sets in most classrooms). At school we offer coffee and tea free of charge. Moderately priced places for lunch can be found around the corner from the school. "Every single student is important to us. It is our job to create an atmosphere where students feel relaxed and are able to concentrate on their studies."
All students should be familiar with the Cyrillic alphabet. Russian School Start Dates:
Russian Course Fees:
High season supplement: 15% between 5th June – 29th Sept 07.
Host Family: Our host families are not always a traditional married couple with a children. Above all we look for someone who is sociable, likes to meet new people and can give a warm welcome to our students. Our host families have time to talk to our students, be patient, understanding, careful and prepared to provide help with any problem that may arise during a student’s stay in Russia. All families provide a single room on a half board basis (full board during the wekends) All our apartments have telephone. Maximum travel time to the school in St. Petersburg is 50 minutes, to the school in Moscow 1 hour. Note: Host family accommodation details will be forwarded approximately 3 weeks before departure. Shared flats – Single Room: Those students who prefer to stay on their own but at the same time wish to experience a student atmosphere may choose our shared flat option. Our flats provide single bedrooms (usually 2-3), shared bathroom and kitchen. Bed linen, cutlery and kitchen equipment are provided. The flats are all equipped with one TV set, telephone, washing machine and vacuum cleaner. The shared-flat option costs the same as staying in a host-family, but without board.
Virtually all travellers to Russia need an entry visa. The earliest arrival and the latest departure dates are indicated on the visa and must be observed. Students have to apply for the visa at a visa department of a Russian Consulate or Embassy in their home country. The school will provide participants with a necessary letter of invitation. Tourist visa: For students wishing to study four weeks or less, we will arrange a simple invitation which entitles the student to apply for a tourist visa. The tourist visa is valid for one entry and for maximum 30 days.
If you have booked your own accommodation, or you arrive any day other than on a Sunday, then you can book an arrival transfer in advance.
Please note that you must arrange a return transfer locally
