The climate in Austria is moderate and makes Vienna a year round location. Summers are very pleasant with temperatures ranging between 20°C and 30°C and in winter temperatures average around 0°C.
Public transport in Vienna is nothing short of excellent. With an outstanding subway system serving most of Vienna, you can also make use of trams, buses and a local train service and once again it is all very reasonably priced.
German School Vienna
Our German Language school is located in the centre of Vienna. The classrooms are in a class of their own; Bright, welcoming and equipped with the latest in educational technology they turn learning into a pleasure. Between classes students meet at the multimedia librarywhich features free
Internet access, German-language literature and the latest issues of newspapers and magazines, as well as DVDs and CDs. In the whole school, you can access the Internet via WLAN/WI-FI.

Standard course - 25 lessons per week: German course (20) + cultural programme (5).
The main emphasis is placed on improving your communication skills. Lessons in grammar and conversation help you with vocabulary building and improve your syntax. You will practice formal and informal writing and work on your listening and reading comprehension.

Intensive course - 35 lessons per week: standard course (20) + minigroup (10) + cultural programme (5).
You will study general German for four daily lessons (standard course) and will be involved an additional two lessons a day in small groups, in which your teacher specifically focuses on your individual needs and problem areas. This course is ideal for anybody wanting to make rapid progress in a short time.

Super-intensive course - 35 lessons per week: standard course (20) + individual tuition (10) + cultural programme (5).
Combination of group tuition (standard course) and individual tuition.
Individual tuition caters to special learning needs as well as taking your vocational interests into account.

Business German - 35 lessons per week: standard course (20) + business German (10) + cultural programme (5).
The combination of a standard course and business German enables you to learn what you need for your job within a short time.
Group size: average 8, maximum 12.
Level: from Elementary 2.

Individual tuition - 10–40 lessons per week: 2, 4, 6 or 8 lessons daily + 5 lessons cultural programme.
You define the content of your language course yourself, resulting in a maximization of input in the one-to-one sessions with your own teacher(s).

Residence/Hotel Our tastefully renovated building comprises 18 well-furnished and modern apartments. Both the school and city centre are accessible in 10 minutes with public transport. The apartments are available in two categories: Residence-Apartments or with ***Hotel Service.
Residence Single or twin room in an apartment (60-75 m 2 ) with Sat TV, radio and free WLAN/WI-FI. 2-5 students share a kitchen, toilet and bathroom. Rooms are cleaned twice weekly.
Hotel *** Single or twin room in an apartment (30-40 m 2 ) for single use with Sat TV, radio, free WLAN/WI-FI, bathroom and toilet. Room is cleaned daily (Monday through Friday). Meals: Use of a kitchen, equipped with fridge, cooking facilities, crockery and cutlery. Or breakfast at the hotel or half board (breakfast + lunch or dinner in a restaurant near the school).
Student Residence You have your own room in a student residence with a favourable location.
Availability: July, August.
Meals: There is a kitchen where you can use the hotplates and refrigerator free of charge – in summer, students need to bring their own crockery and utensils. You can also choose breakfast or half-board.
Facilities: Single or Twin rooms. Most rooms include a shower, toilet and telephone.
Hotel You stay in a neat and well-kept 3-star or 4-star hotel.
Meals: Breakfast.
Facilities: Single or twin rooms with bathroom, TV and telephone. Price on request.
Host Family - Home Stay Accommodation in host families is definitely the best way of practising your German and getting to know Austria and its people outside of the classroom. Host families can be childless couples, parents with schoolchildren or older people whose grown-up children have already left home.
Meals: You may choose from use of the kitchen, substantial breakfast only or half board with a three-course lunch or evening meal.
Facilities: You have your own single or twin room. You share the bathroom and the kitchen with your host family.
Apartment You are accommodated in a well-maintained flat, often shared with other students.
Meals: The use of kitchen is included in the price. The flat contains all the usual utensils and crockery.
Facilities: Single or twin rooms with shared bathroom. Most flats are equipped with a washing machine and TV or radio.
