 At the Hofbräuhaus – certainly the world’s most famous pub – you will learn what it means to enjoy a beer in Munich, football fans from out of town try to build up their confidence while drinking beer before their team has to face the famous FC Bayern München football stars. And it’s exactly here that you find another typical Bavarian tradition: Lederhosen! German School Munich
Our German language school is located only a short distance from the central train station on a large shopping street with uncountable boutiques and large department stores.

Standard course: 20 group lessons per week: If you want to get to know Germany and the Germans while you study the language you should choose the Standard Course! 4 lessons a day will give you enough time to discover your new surroundings. 9 am to 12:30 pm. or 2:45 pm to 6 pm.

Intensive course: 24 group lessons per week: Unlike the Standard Course, the Intensive Course also provides enough time to work on current topics from politics, culture and science. 9 am to 2:30 pm or 1pm to 6 pm.

Business German – 4-12 individual lessons per day, 5 days a week, depending on individual choice: Business/Professional German catered to individuals’ specific needs.

Exam preparation courses: DSH, TestDaf (Test of German as a Foreign Language), Studienkolleg (German High School Diploma equivalent).

Premium course: 28 group lessons per week: Especially designed for clients who can only afford to stay for a relatively short period of time. With this course they can achieve maximum results. 9 am to 2:30 pm or 1 pm to 6 pm.

Plus course: 4 or 8 private lessons per week as a supplement to the group instruction. This way, the Standard Course becomes a Standard Plus, the Intensive Course an Intensive Plus, and the Premium Course a Premium Plus.

Private lessons: 20 or 30 private lessons per week. Private lessons allow you to decide individually both on topics and pace of the instruction.

Average class size: 10 –12 students (max 15).

Host Family: Living with a host family gives you a unique chance to immerse into local customs and traditions. You can practice your German daily and become part of a family. You will stay in a single room and share a kitchen and bathroom with the host family. Bed and breakfast or half board options available.
Note: Host family accommodation details will be forwarded approximately 3 weeks before departure.
Private Room: Participants 18 years and older can also rent a room. The room will either be in a private apartment (small family or single person) or in an apartment shared with other students. Both age and nationality of the students may vary. Participants provide for their own meals and will probably have to share the household chores. Participants have a single room and share the kitchen and bathroom with others.

Learn German in Munich, Germany 
I liked my course in Munich very much! The teachers are very active and motivated. The school is right in the centre in easy reach so you can visit the town after lessons. My host family lived a little bit outside the centre close to the forest and the green. There was tranquillity and I loved the hikes, cycling and outdoor activities.
