German School Berlin
Our school is located in Prenzlauer Berg - one of Berlin’s trendiest districts and full of galleries, bars, clubs and fashion stores featuring Berlin designers.
The school comprises architecture from the 1890s to the important functional Bauhaus style of the 50s and has recently been renovated.
With 40 classrooms and 50 studios on site, students are able to live and learn in the same location. The campus also features a cafeteria, restaurant, sporting facilities, a lounge, a bicycle rental, a bookstore and a travel bureau. The premises are accessible to disabled people.

Standard course: 20 group lessons per week: If you want to get to know Germany and the Germans while you study the language you should choose the Standard Course! 4 lessons a day will give you enough time to discover your new surroundings. 9 am to 12.30 pm.

Intensive course: 20 group + 10 mini group lessons per week. Combination of group course in the morning and mini-group course in the afternoon.

Business German – 20 group lessons, plus 10 or 20 private business lessons: Business/Professional German will be covered in one-to-one lessons catered to the individuals’ specific needs.

Exam preparation courses: ZD (German Certificate B1), Goethe Certificate B2, Goethe Certificate C1, Test Daf C, DSH C1, ZOP C1, KDS C2, GDS C2.

Crash course: 20 group lessons and 10 private lessons per week. Combination of group course in the morning and individual tuition in the afternoon This course is ideal for students who have particular needs and objectives.

Private lessons: 20 or 30 private lessons per week. Private lessons are ideal for students who have particular needs and want to improve their Germany very fast.

Host Family: We have 3 types of Host family accommodation:
- Host Family - Half board
- Host Family – Bed & breakfast
- Host Family - Self-catering
With all accommodation types, the hosts are regular Berliners, who take in guests not for commercial reasons (even though they do get paid), but because they are interested in other cultures.
Studios: On the new school Campus, students can live right next to the school, in one of our 50 studio apartments on site in single studios. (Double or triple apartments are available on request)
Breakfast is included and there is an option to upgrade to the half board option. All rooms are non-smoking rooms.
