 Located in the South of France, Nice is the largest city on the French Riviera with a population of 450,000. The temperature ranges from an average of 10°C in December, January and February to 30°C in the summer months. Swimming in the sea is generally possible from the end of April until the end of October. The Nice Côte d'Azur international airport, second largest airport in France, is less than 10 km away from the city centre.

The French Riviera is part of France's southeastern coast on the Mediterranean Sea, reaching from Cassis to Menton, on the border with Italy. It became a fashionable resort in the late 19th and early 20th centuries and was particularly popular with the British upper class. Initially it was a winter resort, valued for its mild winter climate in comparison with that of northern Europe. It later became much more popular as a summer resort for the European upper class. Today the French Riviera remains a playground for wealthy entrepreneurs and famous show stars from around the world making it an interesting place to learn the French language.
French School Nice
Our French Language school, with classrooms accessible for disabled people, is located in the heart of the city - close to the train station and at a 20 minutes walk from the beach - in two completely renovated buildings from the turn of the 20th Century with air conditioned classrooms, a computer room and a cafeteria.
A 500 sq metres private garden with palm trees and flowers brings an exceptional atmosphere to our French school.

Host Family: Choosing to stay with a host family is the best way to discover the French way of life and to get regular language practice in a friendly atmosphere. Great care is taken in selecting our French host families. To help you settle with your host family and quickly feel at home with them, we take your age and hobbies into account.
Residence: The residence is situated within the school complex and has 21 bright, comfortable rooms, which have been entirely refurbished. Whether single or double rooms, all bedrooms are fitted with a private shower and toilet. Staying in the residence gives students the opportunity to meet and get to know other students in a relaxed and friendly setting.

Should you request a transfer you will be picked up at Nice train station or airport upon arrival and taken back for departure. You must let us know the time of your arrival as well as flight number or train no later than 5 days before your arrival date. This service is available between 9 am and 10 pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
