French School Lyon
Our French language school is situated in the heart of Lyon, a district classified as world heritage by UNESCO. The building, whose 19th century architecture is typical of the Lyonnaise region, is only a short walk from shopping malls, a number of cafés and restaurants not to mention both bus and metro stations. The language school boasts eight spacious classrooms and a multimedia centre fully equipped with free Internet and wireless facilities.

Standard course: 20 group lessons per week. This course is aimed at students who wish to study intensively in the mornings whilst keeping the afternoons free to put their new language skills into practice and to discover the local culture. This is ideal for a long-term course of study and for students with an active social life.

Intensive course: 25 group lessons per week. This Intensive Course has been built up for those who have to improve their French during short stays.

Super Intensive: 30 group lessons per week. This Intensive Course has been built up for those who have to improve their French during even shorter stays!

Host family: The vast majority of our students choose to stay with a host family. It is unquestionably the most effective way to plunge yourself into French-speaking culture and to make rapid progress. There’s no doubt that students who choose to live with a French-speaking family assimilate the language much more rapidly. Daily contact with the family enables you to practise the language constantly, as well as to explore the mentality, expressions and customs of the French people in a pleasant and friendly setting.
Students’ residences: This type of accommodation is intended for the independent students who want to have their own studio apartments and to enjoy the students’ social life. This type of accommodation gives the opportunity to meet other local and international students studying in different kinds of universities and schools in Lyon.
